About Us

Welcome! I’m Brian, the founder of Banyan Tree Healing, a licensed massage therapist, and a holistic wellness practitioner dedicated to helping people achieve balance and lasting relief. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in integrating therapeutic bodywork, energy healing, and mindfulness practices to provide a truly comprehensive healing experience.

My journey into healing began at 14 when a profound meditation experience revealed the deep connection between the body, mind, and spirit. That moment sparked a lifelong commitment to energy work, martial arts, meditation, and plant medicine—eventually guiding me toward Tai chi and energy work that I taught for over a decade and energy work to this day.  This was all followed by my journey into massage therapy. After graduating from the Milwaukee School of Massage in 2010, I was honored to join their faculty, where I taught massage therapy, energy work, and holistic wellness.  I was lucky enough to share these powerful modalities with students in both group and individual settings.

At Banyan Tree Healing, I specialize in therapeutic injury repair, energy clearing, vagus nerve activation, and somatic healing techniques. My approach is not just about relieving physical pain—it’s about identifying the root causes of imbalance and providing the tools necessary for long-term wellness. By blending traditional massage techniques with holistic methods, I help clients reconnect with their bodies and create meaningful, lasting change.

The philosophy behind my practice is inspired by the banyan tree—a tree that grows strong by sending out branches that develop their own roots, forming an interconnected network of strength and support. I see healing in the same way; when I help clients find balance and healing, they carry that wellness forward, spreading positive change within themselves and their communities.

Beyond bodywork, I am expanding Banyan Tree Healing to offer classes, guided meditation, brainwave entrainment, and holistic health education. My goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to take an active role in their healing journey—whether through self-guided practices, personalized therapies, or educational resources.

I am also a strong advocate for plant-based nutrition and holistic living. My personal experiences with health challenges have shaped my understanding of the importance of daily self-care, and I incorporate these principles into both my life and my practice.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll often find me hiking in nature, exploring new music, preparing plant-based meals, or engaging in deep, meaningful conversations. I believe that healing is a lifelong journey, and I’m honored to be part of my clients’ path to well-being.

With her focus on relaxation massage treatments, Maggie incorporates hot towels, aroma therapy, hot stones and firm Swedish strokes in her sessions. Maggie aims for you to walk out of Banyan Tree healing with a feeling of relaxation you can only get with focused human touch. Her thorough treatments are popular among office professionals and athletes. Maggie aims to give you the best massage at every visit, because everyone deserves regular moments of spa-like luxury and restorative breaks from our routines. Rates are incredibly affordable- Maggie truly believes bodywork should be accessible to everyone around her… because we all deserve to feel that post-treatment bliss.

Jenn

Jenn has seen firsthand how people struggle with a variety of issues and how effective massage can be. She entered this gifted community of massage therapists with a strong desire to help bring relief from pain, improving use, and understanding of individuals’ bodies. A Lakeside School of Massage Therapy graduate, Jenn was educated in multiple modalities by others in her field as well as chiropractors, MDs and other professionals. Jenn uses several of these modalities to facilitate your treatment including but not limited to Swedish, Stretch, Shiatsu, and Joint Mobilization. Her intent is to improve your quality of life, be it through relaxation or medical massage.
